Our workplace Sleep Better Program can be delivered as a series of classes or as a one-off workshop. Some popular options include:

  • 1.5 hour practical Smart Way to a Better Sleep Health Workshop to introduce the benefits of sleep, consequences of sleep loss, and various relaxation techniques or simple practices which can be easily integrated into daily life.
  • Introductory workshop can be followed by One or Several 1-hour Sleep Better Sessions where participants will learn various practices and behavior-change techniques that are universally shown to significantly improve sleep, energy levels, and increase performance levels. Your staff will also have an opportunity to create individualized Sleep Better Action Plan specifically tailored to fit their needs and abilities.

Your Facilitator:

Vera Velini is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, K-12 and adult learner educator, behavioral health educator, personal coach, and the founder of Creating Lasting Connections Therapy Center. Vera’s training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program and Wellness Practices began during her graduate studies at Santa Clara University in 2008.  She’s been practicing meditation, mindfulness, yoga and various self-care practices since. Vera currently facilitates Stress Management, Life-Work Balance, Insomnia and Better Sleep Seminars, Assertiveness and Communication Skills and Mindfulness Meditation workshops and trainings in the Bay Area. She also teaches various Behavioral Health Education Classes for Kaiser Permanente Behavior Health Department, Kaiser Permanente Worksite Wellness Program and Adult Psychiatry Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) unit.
