About The Course

Being assertive can be difficult for many people, for many different reasons. Many people in today’s society fear conflict or criticism. Sometimes we feel we have no right to impose our views or even ourselves on to the world. From an early childhood we are trained to believe that our role is to accept and live up to standards of other people leaving us invisible, shy, or intimidated. However, as humans we are not meant to be invisible, nor to live as reflections of the lives of others. When we are not shining in our own light we continue to live in fear, helplessness and our own limitations. This can further lead to resentment towards ourselves & others, depression, anxiety and isolation. If this sounds familiar to you, then we can help!

The assertiveness is not about being perfect but being ok with all the imperfections. It is about exposing your flaws, your sometimes irrational thoughts, your unique preferences, your incomprehensible dreams and all human aspects of self. It’s also about inviting others to be their unique imperfect selves as well. The assertiveness is all about accepting and being TRUE TO YOU!
