About The Facilitator:

Vera Velini is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, behavioral health educator, personal coach, and the founder of Creating Lasting Connections Therapy Center. Vera’s training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program and Wellness Practices began during her graduate studies at Santa Clara University in 2008.  She’s been practicing meditation, mindfulness, yoga and various self-care practices since and began to teach these practices to her clients several years ago during her extensive training and practice of psychotherapy. Vera currently facilitates Stress Management, Life-Work Balance, Insomnia and Better Sleep Practice, Assertiveness and Communication Skills & Mindfulness workshops and trainings in the Bay Area. She also develops curriculum and teaches various Behavioral Health Education Classes for Kaiser Permanente Behavior Health Department, Kaiser Permanente Worksite Wellness Program and Adult Psychiatry Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) unit.
